California Proposition 65 Warning
WARNING: This product can expose you to chemicals including trace amounts of substances such as lead, bisphenol A (BPA), or other compounds commonly found in plastics, metal alloys, coatings, or electronic components, which are known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. This warning is provided in accordance with California's Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 (Proposition 65). It is provided as a precaution based on the general composition of eyewear frames, lenses, coatings, and electronic components, and does not necessarily mean that a specific product contains any listed chemical at a level requiring a warning; California law requires this broad warning whenever a business cannot fully rule out such exposure. For more information, visit www.p65warnings.ca.gov.
General Product Safety and Handling
- Choking hazard. Small parts, including screws, nose pads, lens inserts, and cases, may present a choking hazard. Keep all products and packaging away from children under 3 years old and supervise older children during use.
- Not a toy. Eyewear and eyewear accessories sold on this Site are not toys and should not be used as such.
- Not impact- or ballistic-rated unless a specific product listing expressly states otherwise. Sunglasses and fashion eyewear are not a substitute for certified safety glasses, protective eyewear, or ballistic eyewear in hazardous environments, sports, or occupational settings that require certified protective equipment.
- Lenses and coatings. Avoid using solvents, ammonia-based cleaners, or abrasive materials on lenses or coatings, as this may damage the product; use a microfiber cloth and, where provided, the cleaning solution included with your purchase.
Electronics, Batteries, and Smart Glasses
Products that contain rechargeable batteries, Bluetooth radios, or cameras (such as smart glasses) should be handled according to these general precautions in addition to any manufacturer instructions included with the product:
- Do not submerge in water, expose to extreme heat, puncture, disassemble, or attempt to replace the battery yourself.
- Do not charge unattended for extended periods beyond what the manufacturer instructions recommend, and use only the charging cable and adapter provided or expressly approved for the product.
- Dispose of electronic products and batteries in accordance with your local e-waste and battery recycling regulations; do not place them in general household trash where prohibited by local law.
- Discontinue use and contact us if you notice swelling, unusual heat, smoke, or damage to the battery or charging components.
Camera- and Recording-Enabled Products: Lawful and Responsible Use
Certain products we sell are capable of capturing photos, video, or audio. Recording laws vary significantly by state and country, and using these products unlawfully can expose you to civil and criminal liability. Before using a camera- or recording-enabled product, please note:
- Many states, including several in the U.S. (for example, "two-party" or "all-party" consent states), require the consent of everyone being recorded, particularly for audio. It is your responsibility to know and follow the law that applies where you are and where the people you record are located.
- Do not use recording-enabled products to covertly record anyone in a place where they have a reasonable expectation of privacy, such as restrooms, changing rooms, locker rooms, private residences, or medical settings.
- Do not use recording-enabled products to harass, stalk, or violate the rights of others, or in violation of any venue, workplace, or facility's recording policy.
- Respect posted signage and staff instructions prohibiting recording at private businesses, venues, and events.
{{ shop.name }} sells these products for lawful personal use only. As set out in our Terms of Service, you are solely responsible for how you use any recording-enabled product, and you agree to indemnify us for claims arising from your misuse of one.

Unless expressly stated on a specific product listing, eyewear sold on this Site is non-prescription, is not a medical device, and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease or medical condition, including eye strain, migraines, or sleep disorders. Any description of UV protection, polarization, or blue-light filtering describes a general product feature, not a clinical or medical claim. If you have an eye condition, vision impairment, or believe you need corrective lenses, consult a licensed optometrist or ophthalmologist before relying on any product sold here.
